
Christopher J. Williams
Chairman
Christopher J. Williams is Chairman of Siebert Williams Shank & Co. (SWS). He is CEO of SWS Capital Management, LLC and a principal of the General Partner of the Clear Vision Impact Fund. Previously, Mr. Williams served as Chairman and CEO of SWS predecessor firm The Williams Capital Group, a firm he co-founded in 1994.
Mr. Williams began his career at Lehman Brothers in 1984, and over the course of his tenure, assumed senior management responsibilities in debt capital markets, derivatives, and fixed income trading. He then formed a derivatives division of Jefferies & Company, which later became The Williams Capital Group.
Mr. Williams serves on the Board of Directors of Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP), The Clorox Company (NYSE: CLX), and The Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP). He is also a director of privately held Cox Enterprises, Inc. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) and Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Mr. Williams has also served as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and on the board of The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
